In what way(s) did this course benefit your professional or intellectual development?

I now have a greater understanding of partnerships, corporations, and LLCs It helped me develop a greater understanding for business law and expand my horizons for a subject matter I do not typically gravitate towards. This class provided me with insight into all business entities, which is why I took this class as a bar prep class. I went in with very little knowledge of any of the material, but even before taking the final, I feel confident in understanding the material in an area I’m not incredibly interested in. Yet, Professor Bishop found a way to make business entities interesting and digestible. I feel much more prepared to enter the business law world, and have fostered an interest in corporations generally, which I never anticipated for myself. I took the class for bar prep purposes but have really enjoyed learning the real world implications of BEF. Bus Ent is definitely a course that every law student should take, it really has made me more comfortable with concepts that I am bound to encounter in my future job/practical life experience. I think that this class greatly challenged me and opened my eyes to a lot of legal dicta I would not have known about before.
