Spring 2022 Course Evaluations

What aspect(s) of the course or instruction could be improved?

My only suggestion is the ability to incorporate powerpoint or some other reference material that we can look back on following class besides the recordings. I found the book very readable for such an intense class, and I personally enjoy how Professor Bishop teaches, so I do not have any suggestions for improvement. My biggest remaining question is the structure of the final and how it will be assessed. We have not practiced any questions and rarely discuss hypotheticals so I am not sure if I am prepared for the exam. I wish Prof. Bishop had powerpoints or summary charts so it would be more helpful to know what the "main takeaways" are for the day beyond just class discussion. His diagrams on the blackboard are helpful and our class discussions are always lively/engaging, but a little more structure would be great to guide our note-taking. For example, we go through quite a lot of statutory provisions, but if we could know which provisions are essential to know / more important than others, that would be helpful. I think the professor went off on tangents a little too frequently, which made following the discussion difficult at times N/A
