Spring 2022 Course Evaluations

What aspect(s) of the course or instruction could be improved?

I don’t have any more suggestions. Everything I suggested midway through the semester got implemented. Making an estate plan was fine, but doing that ans having a final was a bit much. Perhaps pick one or the other Stop interrupting students in the middle of their answer. It was cringe watching people try to contribute and get spoken to like they were imbeciles. I’m graduating and I’ve been in some tough classes with demanding professors but the dearth of hand raising in this class was unique to Professor Borison’s class. Suffolk students are always eager to engage and test their understanding but it wasn’t that they were afraid of being wrong - they were afraid of being spoken to like they didn’t belong there. The textbook fit the course well, but the lack of choice was bothersome. It was difficult to follow along the practice/problem questions without a clear guideline of the answer - this will make it difficult to go back and study. none - Clearer slides If there’s a way to condense the reading, that would be very helpful. The sheer amount was overwhelming and made it difficult to absorb the information when there was 40+ pages of dense material for each class. I did not feel that the Professor was open to students asking for clarification or questions either in class or outside of class. They syllabus and assignments were somewhat confusing with too many sources of information, between blackboard, the assignments documents, the syllabus, all the optional links, and the emails. Also, some tests or assignments or something during the semester would have been helpful. More hands on work - less lecture The format of the syllabus (split up) was a bit confusing. I appreciate that the professor put together slides and shared them with us, but there was often too much information on the slides - it made them hard to read and a bit convoluted. I also think
