OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations
In what way(s) did this course benefit your professional or intellectual development? I liked learning about different people ' s career paths and different options Along with seeing the various possible careers to aspire to through thoughtfully-chosen guest speakers, Professor Teninbaum encouraged us to "just dive in" and try new tech solutions, which I really appreciated. I am not a "techy" person and have never tried to code or use any tech solutions, staying away from it because I just thought it wasn ' t for me. While I won ' t be becoming a coder any time soon, I now feel empowered to know what these solutions are and consider the need for tech in legal practice. Very good variety of guests. Gave very comprehensive view of the legal tech field. This course has made me really consider what is important when I am looking for a future employer and career path. It just opens up a lot of possibilities that standard law school instruction would not have touched on. It exposed to me several different paths and a new way of thinking about my legal future. Thoroughly enjoyed this class and the professor. Going forward, I feel confident in my understanding of the intersection of law and technology. I can actively engage in a range of topics, such as the justice gap, and I feel well-prepared for the accelerating rise of technology in the legal profession. I also know about alternative options and how to craft different career paths, which is important in an ever-changing world.
