OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

What aspect(s) of the course or instruction could be improved? I don ' t have any really strong criticisms. Maybe having a bit more of an outline of the overall course and when we would be covering different materials would be helpful to structure my semester ' s schedule. lots of talking about extra stuff to fill time. I think the class time could be cut to 2 hours/week rather than 3 hours/week Maybe some slides with the major rules on them to ensure I have the language down correctly. Conversations got a little too tangential sometimes. Sometimes the discussion tends to veer off into less relevant aspects of employment and does not have a huge bearing on the law itself. There were a few times that we probably could have been let out early. For the most part, I found the class discussions to be very interesting. no comments While I liked that Professor Yamada assigned us cases to be "on call" for, I often felt like I could not participate in a discussion of a case because it was assigned to another classmate. I believe I should have worked on raising my hand anyways, but that aspect of the course felt limiting.
