the questions at hand. I believe this is a crucial skill that I was able to begin developing within this course. I have learned to organize my response to a question that gets directly to the issue. Glannon ' s class was always intellectually challenging, he pushed us to think through things every day. It provided a baseline understanding of court procedure. I enjoyed attending this class because it provides the basics required for bringing a case in the legal profession, but also due to its possible strategic applications in real-life scenarios. Easily the best class out of all my first semester primarily because he demonstrated how a lawyer ought to think about all kinds of issues using procedure as the medium through which it was communicated. A true master class. It is the basic knowledge we all need, but Prof. Glannon brings in real life examples that show the application of the readings. Changed how I think through problems in a different way and am consistently asking myself why when answering other problems. It challenged me. I have developed like a check list of things that must be possible before you can sue someone in fed ct. It thought me that civil procedure for cases can be as complex as the content of the cases themselves.
