OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations
easier to follow along. if she could have a slightly louder mic. otherwise I think she is the best professor There was an incredibly large amount of content covered that is very difficult to retain and comprehend in such a short amount of time. Honestly, nothing. She is very strong and stern, she is an example for all women, she teaches without a tone or acting like she is better than us. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and knows almost everything there is to know about property law. I believe that Suffolk is very lucky to have her on their staff because she makes a difference in student ' s lives. she could slow down on some of the more advanced concepts like fee simple and covenants the only thing that could be improved is the professors use of the microphone. it appears to have issues picking up her voice. Professor Griffith sometimes had trouble making herself heard throughout the lecture hall; assistance with audio equipment might be helpful. Professor Griffith is amazing and I think off the top of my head I cannot find an area to critique. More powerpoints could be used during class instead of solely listening to the professor speak. However, she does make powerpoints for the tougher topics, so it is not a big complaint. r I feel as though there is a lot of information crammed into one semester rather than two. I understand that previously, this course was divided into two semesters, and that we are fitting almost all of that same material into a few months. I feel as though it is a lot to memorize, and even having a couple pages of notes for the exam would be very helpful. The start of the class requires that we are all seated and ready right on time, but the class ahead doesn ' t allow much time to be settled and ready to go. Truthfully I have no idea how the course could be better, I learn really well from Professor Griffith and the way she instructs the class. For some of the more challenging concepts (present and future estates, covenants), it would be helpful to have the class explanation and slides not be based off of the text of the book. I found the book to not do a great job of illustrating those concepts, and Professor Griffith ' s putting these concepts in her own words was the most helpful way for understanding these challenging concepts. Sometimes it is difficult to pay attention when the class is strictly discussion based, especially when trying to visualize the layout of a parcel of land. Perhaps using PowerPoint or some sort of visuals to aid in discussions would be helpful. There is too much to learn in too short of a period of time. Professor Griffith has done an excellent job of condensing things, but considering we have no notes allowed on the exam there Perhaps a brief introduction to the more difficult topics like RAP The book sometimes had lentghy readings and not all of it was important
