She challenged us to see both sides of each argument, which I believe to be such an important skill in the legal world. Prof. Griffith is very professional and expects the same from students. Coming to class prepared is a must, and this is a good skill to have. I structure every case brief based on Professor Griffith ' s recommended format, and it has helped me understand and glean information from all the cases I read. I think she did an exceptional job of teaching us transferable skills in class that help us succeed in not only Property Law, but also Law School in general. She is a phenomenal teacher. From working in commercial real estate, my experience was limited to leases and fee simples, so the other terms and conditions were new to my learning. Property Law felt as though it was just too much for one semester. However this class taught me how to read a lot of information in a sitting and organize my notes well. It is a difficult course due to the sheer amount of work, and being challenged is always helpful in developing one ' s intellect. Property really helped me realize that in the real world things move at a fast pace because the class was moving a little fast. However, it was a good adjustment because it helped me with my other classes
