from the beginning has made the class elevate our work and come into class prepared to lead the class in discussion. You know that when you ' re called on you will be grilled a little, but with that I have found that I come to now all of my classes prepared more so than I would have otherwise and I know more of the material that I thought I did when tested on it. I learned about the basics of property law and opportunities surrounding that branch of law. This class gave me a great understanding of property laws and actually how to apply them to real life scenarios. I think we all have a general understanding coming into property because we all have a lease or know someone that owns a house, etc. But this class gave me a detailed understanding of how important rules are and how the property functions, which I think is very valuable. It has expanded my knowledge of property I have gained a strong knowledge of property law and it ' s concepts. I feel that the class has provided me with a strong foundation in property law concepts. This is a course with a significant amount of content to learn. I think challenging ourselves to deep dive into a broad topic and feel comfortable with he material is not only testing my own intellectual development. In addition, this helped shape me as a professional because as an individual who wants to work as a corporate attorney, this kind critical analysis is a part of everyday life. I learned how to determine which facts in a case are material and why it is important to know the different types of rules applied in each jurisdiction. I am able to read cases faster now and understand clearly what she is looking for on our exams. Briefing skills. This is not a subject that I thought I would be interested in coming into law school, but it pushed me out of my comfort zone and I ended up really enjoying it. The ability to prioritize professionalism in gaining permission to change my seat mid-semester benefited my professional development and allowed for deeper connections with other classmates. Professor Griffith asked meaningful questions and allowed people to argue from both sides and points of view which is practical. Using/doing the principal problems as a group or individually also benefits intellectual development by working alone or as a team to build an argument for a case. Prof. Griffith made an effort to connect what we were learning in class to outside things that might interest us, and explain things using examples that were readily available to us. Not only did those methods help my learning, they also made me think about how Property Law impacts everyday life and my community. I have emerged from this course having an actual interest in Property Law, something I did not anticipate. Being prepared to be cold called helped a lot. Professor Griffith always said to be prepared for class. She didn’t expect us to be experts but expected us to be well prepared. She asked
