OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

The textbook choice was terrific. It provided a guided and structured tour through classes. I think doing the principal problems in class helped enhance my learning of the topic and determine how well I understood the concepts and material as well as how to apply them. I think the TA review sessions and slides were also very helpful to simplify everything. I really liked how she was blunt with us when we were wrong and was a good mix of pushing and encouraging in how she cold called. Professor Griffith is serious but she is funny and makes the class lighter with interactive questions and class discussions I found Professor Griffith ' s teaching effective. Professor Griffith was an AMAZING professor. She was stern yet kind, tough/challenging but not impossible to please, and an overall great professor. I feel like she was a teacher I actually learned from. She always was very engaging and helped whenever we had questions. She made sure to answer everyone but also shut down random comments that would not help fellow students. She was always very clear which is incredibly helpful for a 1L She gave great real-world examples, always put ideas in context, and answered questions well Professor Griffith gave great demonstrations of difficult topics such as vertical and horizontal privity. Professor Griffith presented the concepts extremely clearly and succinctly, and kept discussions focused and relevant. I would love to do more active learning, the way we did when Professor Griffith brought people up to the front of the class to showcase horizontal easements. Professor Griffith is very clear in her teaching style and makes sure to give time for students to ask questions. She made sure to spend extra time on the tougher concepts and gave plenty of opportunities for us to gauge our understanding. The principal problems in the textbook, Professor Griffith ' s teaching style is extremely clear and concise. I always left class feeling like I knew exactly what I needed to be taking away from it. I could not have asked for a better professor. Engaging lectures, the TA weekly review sessions, and principal problems enhanced my learning of this course. The book used by professor Griffith was very organized and clear. The principle problems at the end of the chapters were beneficial and practical by pulling the information into a broader concept. Professor Griffith stuck by the book which was effective for me because it kept everything in a clear and concise manner and she properly explained everything in detail. Professor Griffith went over class material thoroughly and provided many supplemental materials to assist with learning. Professor Griffith is very straightforward. She always clears up any questions. She tells us what the materials are and what we need to know for exams. She is there all of the time to help and
