OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations
I liked Professor Pizzano ' s hypos and in-class exercises. The practice problems/past exam questions provided really enhanced my learning. I ' m a big proponent of not just learning the law, as we do in class, but also practicing it via problems and questions. I feel doing this deepens my knowledge and understanding of the material, and Professor Pizzano provided many opportunities for this, which I greatly appreciate. Additionally, the stories the professor provided helped bring the concepts to life and illustrate real-world examples. This made the course fun and engaging. Professor Pizzano ' s lectures and revisiting of cases we previously covered greatly enhanced my learning! Not much to say, it was a simple, straight-forward class which covered the expected subject matter. No drama, a little humor - solid class all-around. Professor Pizzano taught the course in a clear manner emphasizing the critical points while also providing useful context to help frame the legal issues. His teaching style is warm and energetic as well as organized and we moved at a steady pace allowing issues of law to be analyzed in more depth than I ' ve had the chance to do in some other classes. I enjoyed our review of essay prompts during class. It helped to see the issue-spotting and put the class discussions into context. However, I wish we had walked through an analysis a bit deeper so I could better fit together the moving parts of the course.
