Spring 2022 Course Evaluations

Professor Reyes does a great job at breaking down complicated Supreme Court cases into key takeaways to apply on exams. Professor Reyes keeps efficient time during class, while still allowing for open-forum discussion. The energetic and up beat character of the professor kept us all engaged through the density of all the material. Loved how organized he is Reyes was an incredibly respectful professor who definitely makes himself accessible to help students. He did his best to try to make what we learn relevant - however it did not always work. Professor Reyes’ thoroughness was extremely appreciated and helpful to further my understanding of the content. He went over every assigned case in great detail. Prof. Reyes fostered such a respectful learning environment based on how he responded to students, even when their answers were not correct, encouraged me to participate regularly and often. My participation facilitated by learning and encoding the material. In class discussions. Reyes is very fun and engaging. Super approachable professor and always excited to help in any way you need. Always made the class a respectful environment allowing a free expression of ideas about difficult topics. Professor Reyes does a great job encouraging the class to fully analyze the cases we read. I had begun to skim opinions, and Professor Reyes’s class reminded me to be more thorough in my preparation. I really enjoyed Professor Reyes’ enthusiasm for the subject which can be a tad difficult to grasp at times.
