I had hoped for a little more instruction on con law principles throughout the year. We discussed this in class, but I’ll just reiterate that it would be great if Suffolk could provide funding for transportation to/from the high schools. I spent a lot of my personal money on Uber/Lyft rides, which was the only way I could get to the high school on time after my law school classes. Even when I wasn’t coming directly from a law school class, Uber was often the best option because it took me 2+ hours to get home via public transit - and I need that time to do my other law school work. I don’t regret participating in this program, but it definitely came with a financial burden that I hope can be alleviated for future participants. Finally, I will just say thank you to Professor McLaurin and Professor Smith. This was truly a great experience and I am so grateful for the work and care that they put in to this program! Thank you for a life changing experience Thank you for your outstanding commitment to an amazing program! It is clear that you care about all of us and the high school students, and I am beyond thankful and proud to have been a Marshall Brennan fellow. It changed my life for the better!
