In what way(s) did this course benefit your professional or intellectual development?

Well, it was definitely fun to work towards understanding something myself and then work to make it understandable to high schoolers. helped with a lot I loved teaching. It helped me understand the cases a lot better and go even deeper on some of the material. Overall I had a great experience with the Marshall Brennan program and think this will be one of the highlights of my law school career. I loved being out in the community, working with students, and sharing some of the Con Law lessons I’d learned in 1L. Watching my students compete in the moot court competition was incredibly inspiring and fulfilling. My 1L Con Law class barely covered Equal Protection so this class really provided me with a much more solid understanding of that and other Con Law concepts. Teaching the material was also academically beneficial for me, as it helped to solidify my understanding of Con Law and Crim Pro concepts. This course helped me learn about who I am in a professional environment and how I best process information The Marshall-Brennan program benefitted my professional development by allowing me to develop a close working relationship with a peer and a host teacher. I also learned how to manage my time, manage the needs of a classroom, and adapt to ever-changing situations.
