Spring 2022 Course Evaluations

Blank pages indicate no response for that question. What aspect(s) of the course or instruction enhanced your learning? The in-class question made it better understand. I think this is a great class that everyone should take if they are at all interested in going in house ever or interested in biotech. Biotech is a large part of the Boston market and this class has given me a leg up, especially because going into it I was completely unfamiliar with the business and the industry. I feel now I can better serve clients and will be an asset to any team that has a biotech client. This was a great class and I’m really glad that I took it. Prof. Leicher has a depth of knowledge from his experience in the world of biotech that is really invaluable to students; everyone interested in IP should take this course. I feel that the way in which Professor Leicher taught the class and allowed for an open dialogue benefitted my learning process. The lecture and the readings were very helpful for understanding biotech law. I really appreciated all of the stories Professor Leicher shared from events that happened while he was working in

various biotechs. I also enjoyed learning from the guest speakers who came to our class. Professor’s personal experiences, great slide decks, and the guest speakers. Also the homework assignments and hypotheticals were very helpful.
