Professor Corbett is an excellent professor who taught a complex subject in a learnable/digestible way. - Thank you for a great semester. I look forward to taking another class with you Great class overall Thanks for a great semester. Overall, Professor Corbett was one of the best professors I have had during my time at Suffolk. He truly is an expert in the field of tax, but breaks down the course material in a comprehensive manner for easy understanding. Professor Corbett always took the time to pause for questions and answered questions effectively. Professor Corbett created a comfortable classroom environment that made it easy to ask questions in the complex field of tax. While I was intimidated when first enrolling in this course, Professor Corbett found a way to make this course one of my favorite, even leading me to pursue a specialized focus in tax. By far and away the best professor I’ve had during my 1L year. You simply can tell how much he loves the class, and how much he wants his students to learn the material. Absolutely no "hiding the ball," no political speeches from the podium, etc. I have been recommending Prof. Corbett to all of my friends who have asked whether they should take BIT. Suffolk is lucky to have him.
