the concepts adequately. I appreciated when Professor Robertson would take us through each case in the same order as we read them, explain the rule that came out of each fact pattern, and conclude with the main takeaways. Those were always quite helpful classes. I liked Professor Robertson’s cold-calling approach. He doesn’t try to hide the ball, like most Professors, but instead promotes a healthy, fun learning environment. Professor Robertson’s class is the only class I felt comfortable being cold called in because he is effective in teaching through the socratic method in a fun, stress-free way. Some aspects of class discussion and supplemental materials, such as the Glannon Guide. The suggested Glannon E&E Torts was instrumental to my learning because it presented the content in a clear, structured way. The Glannon Guide is very helpful The reading and supplemental materials were the most helpful. Professor Robertson made the class fun at times through his humorous hypotheticals which were relevant to the topic. Going through the cases. Professor Robertson’s willingness to answer emails thoroughly enhanced my learning. Practice Perfect by Professor Glannon. Taking torts has deepened my understanding of tort law in general, and I feel secure in my knowledge of intentional torts, negligence principles, and strict liability law. I know I can talk about torts confidently and I have a good idea of the general principles. The instruction for the class did not add to my learning. Although I attended every class and was engaged throughout class, I did not feel I learned much from class. Most of what I learned came from reading the book and doing practice examples in the book. This is a required first year course. I did not find any help through any of the instruction. I did not learn anything from Professor Robertson’s instruction that I did not already read in the book.
