Going through the notes of the cases in class was helpful hypotheticals, comparison to modern cases and situations
He is very theatrical. While he presents the info and hammers down the point. I think in some respect he could pick up the pace and move a littler faster. There are quite a few times that he assigns a caseload of info and then glazes over the info and that is very disappointing to someone that prepares and reads. Robertson put the cases in concise ways. Prof. Robertson has very vivid storytelling capabilities to make the cases come to life. He clearly has been teaching this course for a long time, and has a good aptitude for keeping the class’s attention. We worked through a logical progression of cases and case law which aided in learning the material. It really didn’t. robertsons "methods" approach through cases. it made it make sense and he is effective in that respect. I really appreciated Professor Robertson making the class come alive for us through his dramatics and phrases to help us remember the material. That kept me engaged and helped me to remember 6
