Profesor Dyment is the single most engaging lecturer I’ve had at Suffolk thus far. I would highly recommend this course, and him as an individual professor, to anyone, even those who would never dream of practicing tax law. Additionally, I agree that a student due diligence simulation would be a very effective teaching tool in later semesters. As a students who’s favorite part about Suffolk law so far has been how awesome the teachers are to learn from, my biggest piece of advice to professor would be to use the syllabus to his advantage and just try to explain the tax issues to people who may not be LLM students. I would definitely take one of professor Dyments classes again and I will tell my friends to take the SALT class if they can as well, because I did really enjoy it and professor was enjoyable to learn from. You should have him back. Thank you for a great semester! I think next year the class would benefit from working on some kind of due diligence exercise for a portion of their final grade. He is a great guy and very kind Professor Dyment is a great professor who I have learned a lot from. He brings unique perspectives from his career in Tax. I hope SULS continues to offer SALT going forward.
