OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

Additional comments I am very glad I took this bar prep class. I would be lost in May when I started bar study without this course. I find a lot of bar questions to be very frustrating, and using the tools to go through them step-by-step using this online, asynchronous method was awesome. I ' m also SO grateful for the feedback on my essays and the MPT portion. Holy goodness I would ' ve flunked the MPT without Prof. DeFabritiis ' feedback. Thank you! Overall I found this class to be so helpful, the midterm prepared me for timing myself on bar questions and I expect the final will as well. I am looking forward to continuing this class in the spring to continue with early bar preparation. n/a Bar prep. is still a little bit scary, I need to know more about the practical stuff, specifically, how do I get my Barbri materials, and how can I incorporate another bar prep study. I ' m worried Barbri is too "barbri-oriented" and unrealistic for the bar exam. I found this course very helpful in preparing for the Bar exam. Excited for next semester. As a 3L, I took this class to help me get a head start on BAR prep. Little did I know that I was about to take the most time consuming and difficult 2 credit class of my entire law school career. I am BAFFLED by the fact that this voluntary course is graded rather than pass fail. We as a 3L class are doing ourselves and the school itself a favor by preparing early by ensuring the possibility that the next years pass rate increases. This fact alone should make the school want more students to take such a class. Instead, it caused a great deal of anxiety and stress, and forced us to turn out focus away from higher weighted class studying come finals time. I ' m floored and will not be taking the next semester ' s class. (If it were not graded and pass fail instead, I would highly recommend it to anyone as it really reinforced the content I learned during 1L - which is just sad.)
