OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

Additional comments Professor Ciarimboli was very helpful in answering questions during class and in office hours. It was helpful to be given general information and expectations on the bar exam itself. Professor Ciarimboli was very encouraging and supportive, which I appreciated given the difficulty of preparing for bar and the topics that it covers. This course is a lot of work. It feels like too much work for two credits. As a first generation student, I ' ve always felt like I was at a disadvantage because I came into law school with no idea how any of this works. I ' ve felt the same way with the bar as well, but this class has made me confident that I can do well on it. Professor Ciarimboli created a safe space in her classroom for everyone to ask questions about the bar, and it was super appreciated! I wish Professor Ciarimboli taught more classes! I love her! I really enjoyed Prof. Ciarimboli. My one comment would be after the results of the July Bar were released she spoke with us about how the passing rate had dropped and they believed this to be a function of classes being online for the second half of the 2nd semester for the students that would have taken this July Bar. I think that actually frightened the class because not only were a good amount of students in Adv. Svy., evening students during that first semester of the pandemic, like myself, but also the current 3Ls had a lot of their classes online too that following year. I think in this comment caused some panic. The atmosphere was very conducive to learning - Professor C was always open to questions and had such a positive attitude when receiving and answering them. Even if something felt like a silly question or something we should know, she never made it seem like it was something we should know but would say something like "great question!" which seemed to make room for more questions than may have been asked if that level of openness hadn ' t been there. This was a really helpful class and Professor C is amazing and very approachable about anything.
