OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

Additional comments I throughly enjoyed this class and have learned so much from Professor Glannon. Professor Glannon always challenged us to dive deeper into the materials and truly help all of us to grasp the material. The quizzes are extremely helpful in learning and understanding the material Professor Glannon held my attention in class more than any other professor this year. Although the content was arguably the most boring, I actually enjoyed this class the most. I never worried about what Glannon expected from me or his quizzes or exams being more challenging than what was presented in class. By consistently holding a high standard for his students in all aspects of the class, I feel the most prepared both for his final as well as for the bar. Professor Glannon is an excellent professor. Two comments: 1) the TA has been ineffective and at some point appeared to provide misleading information about Professor Glannon ' s method as to taking exams. The TA has been short with students, and sometimes failed to address questions, leaving students feeling that the question was plain dumb, instead of helping clarify. 2) Quiz-taking: for a law school quiz, the number of spelling and name mistakes were embarrassing and more often than not, created a serious ambiguity and confusion as to the intention of the question. On almost every quiz, we received clarifications from the TA (which I credit them for) but only after someone contacted them about it, and usually an hour or so after the beginning of the quiz. If students are expected to uphold academic integrity standards, we should have an expectation that our professors/TAs/ Suffolk Law itself is providing the quality that facilitates our learning. Glannon is a god Prof. Glannon is an amazing professor. I learned so much from him and I hope to take another class with him in the future. Thanks Glannon! I really appreciated how organized Anne the TA was. She was immensely helpful and responsive and I enjoyed working with her. Also, I know that Professor Glannon wishes for success for all of his students. Though I dreaded the cold calling, it was an incentive to always be prepared. In total, it was a positive but challenging experience. Professor Glannon is fantastic. He is a true expert in the field who makes learning what many describe to be "boring" subject matter legitimately fun. I loved this class- long live the myrmidons of civil procedure! Prof. Glannon is awesome! Professor Glannon is great- I did find the class the right amount of challenging but sometimes a bit as to when things were due. The emails were useful but sometimes a bit lost on the where on the syllabus we were unless a page was actually mentioned or a topic header. I think it ' s okay to adjust the quiz grade for students who answered the question based on the reasoning from your own book. Even if you decide to rewrite your book to correct
