Blank pages indicate no response for that question. What aspect(s) of the course or instruction enhanced your learning? Discussion Broaden my understanding of access issues. I loved that there were speakers coming in from different areas of law and politics relevant to the course material. The readings were great and informative and I appreciated the guest speakers. I think our professor did a great job of covering a variety of topics and how they all intersect to give us a very realistic view of how access to justice plays out in the real world. She always allowed time for and encouraged discussion on these topics as well, which provided the opportunity for us to flesh out our thoughts on each subject and engage with other perspectives. She also assigned readings that were very informative and engaging, as well as reasonable in length. The second half of the course involved many guest speakers who brought a new perspective to discussions surrounding access to justice and potential career paths. The group projects facilitated critical thinking surrounding access to justice issues and showcased peers perspectives on the topics. the reading were daring and challenging. They were really rooted in tools that we can take to become attorneys. Professor Johnson was great in this class. I thought her hands on experience with GBLS really helped me learn more about what we were learning in class. Additionally, her passion for the course helped enhance my learning, it ' s always better to learn from a professor that cares about what they ' re teaching.
