OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations
Additional comments Professor Malley would speak for one hour and fifty minutes with only a hand full of breaks to look up for questions. Professor Malley spoke at a rate that was difficult to follow and often the power points were too small to real or would contain too much information to comprehend. Professor Malley is a really good professor. I think this is her first time teaching T&E at Suffolk so I was a little concerned at the first few classes as I had no prior knowledge from my other classmates about her teaching style or etc. But as the semester goes on, she ' s very funny and also really knowledgeable in the subject matter. She answers all the questions during the class in a very genuine manner. She brought a couple of her colleagues to our class to have them share their experiences dealing with clients and how they handle their cases. It was actually a really good chance for the class to expand the learning from the textbook to real life. I hope to see her teaching at Suffolk next semester so I can recommend her class to my other classmates! I think Professor Malley was really nice but she really sped through the material so it was really hard to keep up with what she was talking about. It felt nearly impossible to take good notes and keep up with what she was talking about. This was my favorite class this semester and 2nd favorite class out of all my law school courses. Professor Malley was clear, concise and very willing and helpful outside of class time be it reviewing outlines, answering questions or looking at notes/filling in notes we may have missed. Professor Malley was my favorite professor this semester- she was funny and clearly knew a lot about the material. This material was some of the hardest I ' ve encountered in law school and I feel like she did a great job of pointing out what we actually needed to know in practice, and thoroughly went through all of the concepts. Overall great first go at teaching Trust and Estates. ' - I enjoyed this course and I think that Prof Malley is great, relatable and likable. She used humor in a way that helped me to look forward to class and she was really intentional about providing real life examples from her work to support the material she was teaching us. Thank you! Professor Malley is a great educator, she is very knowledgeable on T&E. Professor Malley is more than happy to help her students. She goes above and beyond to make sure her students are prepared and understand the material. She is one of the kindest and most compassionate professors I have had at Suffolk. The professor is knowledgeable in the field and I felt benefitted by the fact that she is an active trust and estates lawyer who often drew from her experiences when answering questions. Far too Very much enjoyed the class even though I mainly took it for the bar. The only drawback of the quizzes was that some questions were verbose.
