OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

format. The questions asked in class went beyond material in the case in preparation for the final

It was a great introduction course to property law! enough said! Property helped me to continue trying to argue both sides of an issue.

The principal problems were helpful to test whether I understood the key take-aways from the cases in the chapter. Speaking in class about the principal problems helped my professional development in how I explain the issues and my argument. It helped my issue spotting. Because I found the course content to be presented in a generally ineffective way, I cannot identify specific elements of the class that benefitted by professional and intellectual development. I guess it helped me learn how to seek external resources based on the deficits in the class itself. I will always remember Professor Griffith as one of my first law school professors and someone that made me feel I was glad to be a law student and in the law profession. She embodies moral strength, kindness, and a twinkling sense of humor that always served to lighten the subject. I appreciated her occasional relevant anecdotes from her interesting life and career. Property has taught me crucial time management skills, having to learn how to plan out my time to get through the assigned readings in a timely manner. In addition, the format of the class and how the students and professor interact taught me how to effectively convey my thoughts. This material is very standard and commonplace even in everyday life. It benefited my intellectual development by helping me understand what to pull from cases I feel like I have a low-level basic understanding of property law that will help me in my own personal life with issues between landlord/tenant issues, but don ' t know that I would say I feel prepped for the bar exam I have a great understanding of property and the different aspects of the law. The textbook effectively conveyed the legal principles and the principal problem helped me practice applying them. I felt intellectually challenged at all times. I have a better understanding of property over all I think that the book does a good job of laying out the important issues that they want you to learn. Prof. Griffith teaches you to pay attention to details like wording, drafting, intent and being incredibly specific, and what happens when you don ' t pay attention to those details.
