OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

The textbook structure was intuitive, and that combined with Prof. Griffith in class instruction even the toughest concepts were not as bad as I expected. I appreciated that Professor Griffith ' s presentations were always organized and generally delivered in a clear way so that we had a better understanding of content after the class than beforehand. Knowing the structure of each class helped me prepare the case briefs. I do like that she cold calls for the facts of each case. It helps ensure that I am prepared for class and understand the cases. I appreciated Professor Griffith ' s adherence to the syllabus and the assignments laid out. This organization made it easy to know how to adequately prepare for each class. Professor Griffith ' s kind and professional manner, always appropriate and sincere, created a wonderful classroom environment. The class clearly respects her enormously and feels great affection for her and her stellar character. The format of the class and casebook allowed myself to organize the material in preparation for class. I knew what was expected of me and was able to effectively prep in advance. I liked the structure of Professor Griffith ' s class. I knew exactly what to expect from each class and it helped me be prepared for class and engaged during class. I liked how clear and concise the syllabus was and the assignments in the textbook. Very clear what is expected of me. Office Hours What helped enhanced my learning was that Professor Griffith was breaking down information and giving hypos I had to buy many study guides in order to better understand the material because Griffith was not good at thoroughly explaining the material and said contradicting things multiple times Professor did a great job at explaining the principal problems in depth and applying the cases we learned to the class discussion. I also appreciated when Griffith drew diagrams for cases that were tough to visualize. the principal problems was very helpful to tie together the chapter I liked the principal problems within the book. I thought that they helped to bring the concepts together. The way she presented the readings in class and explained the concepts/giving real life examples helped my understanding. Prof Griffith uses cold calls that keeps you on your toes. She absolutely knows the material and used real life application. She is also very clear on highlighting important topics and what the take aways from cases are. The coursebook and going over principal problems
