Below are the responses to the three open-ended questions asked regarding the instructor and the course. Please note, student responses have not been edited in any way. Blank pages indicate no response for that question. What aspect(s) of the course or instruction enhanced your learning? Using the casebook he assigned as well as supplemental material posted on Blackboard. Great lecturer and very engaging. I can tell the professor is very knowledgable and makes himself very available to the students. I really like that he holds his own review sessions instead of just passing everything off to his TAs. The weekly quizzes and the two hypothetical short essays, in addition to the midterm examination, really helped me enhance my understanding of the material over the course of the semester. I think that the quiz questions really helped as well as the practice hypotheticals because they had us think about what we were learning in class. His presentations were extremely organized, which was helpful, and I really appreciated the weekly quizzes, they made me more prepared for exams. I thought Prof. Infranca was very engaging and made even the most difficult concepts simple and easy to learn. I found his teaching style to be very effective and it made me really confident and interested in the material. The professor has an engaging personality which made a less interesting topics just a bit more interesting. The petty cases make it more interesting too. This was my favorite class from this semester! I found lecture fun and engaging and felt like the weekly quizzes were extremely beneficial in keeping me up to date with the material I thought the powerpoint slides and lectures were most helpful. Professor Infranca was very good. Having a midterm and the review sessions were also very helpful. The adherence to traditional cold-calling benefited me immensely. Having a little fear I could potentially be called on to answer questions about cases definitely resulted in me studying harder, thus actually understanding the material better. I also loved there were weekly quizzes. I was able to get a gauge on my understanding of the week ' s readings. I loved that there was a midterm. Having these not only provided some additional opportunities to get my grade up, but I could determine if I was actually understanding the material. Coming into this course I was told by a family member (who had been a student here at Suffolk Law) that I would not like this course because of the material, but I found it to be one of the most engaging classes of my schooling career. Professor Infranca is an amazing instructor who understands how to engage the class with humor and anecdotes while also staying on track and getting all information scheduled for a class into a class session in a way that is never rushed. I think the casebook and cases really made sense and lecture helped fill in the gaps. the TA ' s
