I also loved how we went over each problem/example at the end of each assignment or chapter - it allowed for better connection with the material, as well as some excellent class discussion. Going over the principal problem in class and the blackboard materials were particularly helpful. Doing each principal problem at the end of each chapter as a class then professor Griffith reviewed the principal problem after and explained how she would approach it. One thing that definitely helped me was doing each principle problem at the end of each chapter as a class. Having that class discussion about how to apply the cases from our readings to a real life scenario was really effective in understanding each chapter ' s concepts availability of practice exams and multiple choice quizzes on Blackboard Professor Griffith structured her class in an effective manner. She was always willing to answer any questions my peers had and she would be sure to explain thoroughly. One thing I really appreciated was that Professor Griffith would always be willing to extend an explanation when should could tell that a student did not fully understand an answer to a question she had provided without the student even telling her that they were unsure. To me, that showed that Professor Griffith genuinely cared to make sure that her students left class with an understanding. Professor Griffith went through the book and took extra time on harder concepts in order to make sure everyone in class understood the material. She did the principle problem after each assignment which helped solidify how to apply the material we were learning. The principal problems were helpful to understand concepts and it’s application Professor Griffith is a great teacher who wants the best for her students. She pushes students to get the most out of class. Her dry sense of humor is intimidating at first but over time becomes entertaining and keeps the class engaged. I thought that the Principal Problems from our textbook was very helpful at looking at hypotheticals specifically for those assignments. Professor Griffith made sure to spend time on these and facilitated class discussions for us to look at all sides of the issue. Professor Griffith was always available to students after class, during office hours, and would stay in the library everyday until 8pm just in case students had questions. She also was very clear in her explanations and I never left class confused on a topic. Professor Griffith is one of the best, she really encouraged us to argue both sides of each legal principle, which I believe is what allowed me fully understand the topics covered in class Prof. Griffith organized the course carefully, taking additional time for the more difficult subjects. She is great at answering questions. I loved how structured Professor Griffith ' s classes were/are. She does an excellent job of managing our expectations, letting us know how to succeed, and setting classroom boundaries for substantive learning.
