In what way(s) did this course benefit your professional or intellectual development? This class taught me to think in a way different than any other tax class. Professor Conway used real-life examples which made the course so applicable and easier to understand. Professor Conway made this course so digestible and easy to understand. Thank you!! It was daunting at first, but I have a great handle on it now. I feel I gained real insight into what it ' s like being in tax The real-life applicability of the material strongly benefited my professional development. Professor Conway never taught anything that we didn ' t need to know. She was direct and to the point which we greatly appreciated as it showed us what we needed to absorb and what we didn ' t. I really found that this helped me understand a lot of the concepts that I will be working with in I have a better understanding of how the tax system works in general, and specifically why people make decisions that seem incomprehensible if you don ' t know the tax consequences underlying the decision. Amount of additional resources was superb the future and I feel much more prepared for my career in tax. This course helped me understand taxes more than I ever have before.
