OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

Blank pages indicate no response for that question. What aspect(s) of the course or instruction enhanced your learning? I really benefited from the format Professor Conway used. The use of One Note instead of writing on the white board is genius! I could go back and compare my notes without worrying about writing everything down in the moment. Using real world examples really helped me to understand the concepts in a practical way. Professor Conway made tax the most interesting subject I have ever learned. Her fun personality made difficult ad dry material so enjoyable. I really thought her writing on the iPad projected to the screen was effective. She provided visuals for those like me who need them while also lecturing. I also really enjoyed the use of panels to engage class participation. Perfect class The note-taking system Professor Conway ' s stories that helped bring the material to life really helped me understand the practical application of the law. Professor Conway was always so enthusiastic about the topic she was teaching. She happily answered people ' s questions. You can tell she genuinely loves teaching and that made it much easier to sit through class. Professor Conway does a great job of breaking down really complex tax issues into what we really need to know and giving real-world examples. The fact that Prof. Conway had "panels" in class forced me to be prepared and engaged. I appreciated all of the visuals on the white board, and the examples that we went through as a class for the more complicated modules.
