In what way(s) did this course benefit your professional or intellectual development?

Explained beyond the task i.e. what a senior associate would ask for follow up questions Preparing for the bar and refining a lot of writing skills. Provided real world skills we will use as lawyers and effectively taught written communication We have completed several MPTs covering a wide range of law, including family law, and trusts and estates. This more broadly represents the broad range of topics that is typically evident and covered by MPTs, so it helped me get familiar with them and their overall structure and topics. Learned to write in a better structure and to analyze material more logically better understanding of legal writing hopefully the practice MPT’s will help to be faster and more concise on the essay part of the MPT this benefitted my professional development because I have not had the opportunity to improve my legal writing skills since LPS until taking this class. I struggle with basic writing /grammar skills generally so taking this class helped with that but specifically taught me how to write in the legal way Taught me how to time manage my reading skills for the MPT portion of the bar. Will help me score high on the MPT! I think that this class has really helped with my time management. Learning how to write the MPT effectively. Helped me understand what to expect on the bar Gave me a lot of tip and tricks, plus made me realize I was far too confident in my skills
