I wish he had cold called on more people because so few participated in each class. This class wasn’t difficult and he would often get upset that people weren’t participating, but he didn’t force them to either. There was no TA and the professor did not have additional information like he said he would Prof. Eisenstat was a fine professor, I learned a lot in this course. had 5 pages of reading a night for first 2 months then 30+ last few weeks... doesn’t make any sense... not good for processing info before final We also had several makeup class sessions for no clear reason. We had not missed a previous class, and had to attend additional classes outside of the designated class make-up date. This in turn affected our ability to prepare for other classes, and prepare for the makeup Torts class. No clear reasoning was provided for these additional classes, and we still are not on track to complete the content provided on the syllabus. Good class Prof. Eisenstat is a good professor and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in his class. At a certain point in the semester, I would have been more enthusiastic about this class if Professor Eisenstat was less demeaning about requesting participation... I still did answer questions and stay involved, but I didn’t see that behavior working on my peers. I thoroughly enjoyed this class! I would definitely take another class taught by Professor Eisenstat.
