The real world anecdotes used in class Hypos were helpful.

The review sheets that Eisenstat handed out and went over in class were very helpful. Also review practice essay questions throughout the semester was helpful instead of trying to squeeze them in at the end of the semester. Professor Eisenstat is great at finding simple ways to explain, or re-explain, complex cases and rules. One take away that I have from Torts is Professor Eisenstat’s hypos are VERY interesting/funny sometimes, so they’re easy to remember and help apply to harder topics, etc. I loved this class, as I thought it was extremely interesting and that the discussions were engaging. Professor Eisenstat does a great job of explaining the material and making it easy to understand. The multiple hypos with each concept helped quite a bit. The general style of teaching, a mix between back and forth as well as lecture is very effective. Professor Eisenstat’s lectures were interesting and he provided good hypos and worked through them with us. He welcomed and encouraged questions and he did his best to answer every question, even if he wasn’t always sure of the answer. He really wanted us to understand the material and his reviews were very helpful. He was very transparent about what he would be looking for on exams. Professor Eisenstat keeps class interesting and clearly enjoys teaching Torts. His hypotheticals helped a TON. He likes to provide us with real-life situations. Professor Eisenstat uses many hypotheticals to increase our understanding of the material in order to prepare us for applying the material to both exam and real-world scenarios. In addition, Professor Eisenstat effectively summarizes cases and identifies the key takeaways from each case. Providing ample hypotheticals. He is very knowledgable Eisenstat did a really great job of keeping the energy up during a 2 hour morning class. He was very organized and made sure we knew exactly what we were talking about - whether it was through his visuals or through explicitly saying we were at the end of the topic, reviewing, and asking if there were any questions before we moved on. His assigned textbook was very straightforward and concise, making it very easy to learn torts. Class time is dedicated to reviewing and going over the content from the reading assigned for that 6
