OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

Writing a paper is helpful to round out knowledge Professor Ferrey ' s knowledge was a tremendous boon. I liked the group discussions and debates during the simulation classes.

Professor Ferrey is obviously incredibly knowledgeable about the subject matter, but the class was less than ideal. Instead of a clear coherent structure, the lectures amounted to more rambling than anything else. The materials assigned for class reading enhanced my learning, but I found that there was minimal discussion of that material toward the end of the semester that would have laid a strong foundation before entering simulation portion of each class where students were expected to argue different sides. The topics on the syllabus were interesting, as was some of the assigned reading in person The wide variety of topics students were able write papers on and present gave me a nice balance of various energy topics and learning from students who seemed interested in the topics was effective.
