OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

What aspect(s) of the course or instruction could be improved? i wish that there was more instruction before each class on things you can ' t do; things you should do; how the class will work; etc., as i felt like i was going into almost every class blind (apart from the readings themselves). and as you mentioned others had previously commented, there were still many times where you would repeat yourself in the same class or get too off topic, which i felt took away from class time that could have been better spent. i also wish that it was made clear in the syllabus which subproblem we were doing (i.e., if we were doing the (1) or (2) version of problem 5.5), because this definitely tripped a lot of people up. N/A - great class! none I understand that you cannot learn trial advocacy via lecture, but it would be helpful to have the brief run-down of the topic the week before and not the day we have to perform that topic. I always felt more prepared and confident the times Judge Giles went over the aspect of trial advocay before the day of the performance. Otherwise, it was anxiety inducing to have her go over the topic already prepared and be thinking I messed something up with no ability to fix it adequetely before performing.
