OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

Additional comments Professor John Infranca is by far one of the best professors I have taken so far, he knows how to get students engaged in his classroom. Love this class would take it again or have the professor again. I appreciate Prof. Infranca taking time to meet with as many students as possible for feedback. The cold calls are less intimidating when two people get called on at once and they can bounce off each other a bit so I liked that. Infranca you are the BEST I hope I can take another class with you at some point, I came into law school set on criminal law and I loved this class so much I am now looking into trusts and estates as a future career path. Thank you!! It was very stressful that after our midterm we were very behind so we were reading and not addressing the cases until a week later. It was also stressful that we were still reading 50 pages and learning on the last class, 4 days before the final, when every other class was done and had time to study and not worry about new material. His teaching style was my favorite this semester! Thanks for a great semester! :) It was a pleasure to take this class. I highly enjoyed Professor Infranca ' s teaching style and feel very lucky to have had him for Property Law. Professor Infranca makes class interesting and does a great job at mixing "cold calling" with allowing students to volunteer to answer questions. Even with the cold calls, he helps students with the answers and makes sure that the questions asked and the answers given remain on topic. He presents the material in a clear fashion and often mixes humor into his lectures in a way that makes class enjoyable. Thank you. I truly enjoyed your class and your enthusiasm for the material is inspiring. I might suggest enforcing the name card policy from a selfish perspective to help get to know others and remember their names but also because I think some students might take things personally or infer other isms if they get called by the wrong name or if their name isn’t known. I hope to take a future class from you. Thanks! Thank you for a fun and wonderful first semester. Your teaching method undoubtedly contributed to my participation and engagement in class. Professor Infranca is a huge asset to Suffolk Law. He made a subject I was the least interested in very enjoyable and I learned a great deal in his class. Having all of property in one semester instead of two is a lot. I feel very overwhelmed with it all and like I don ' t have a grasp on it and wish that it was still two semesters. I really liked having the written assignments since it made us actually analyze what we had learned. I think maybe more of a balance between the quizzes and written assignments would be useful.
