OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

What aspect(s) of the course or instruction could be improved? I dont really have any complaints.

I do not see any areas that need to be improved. Professor Infranca is doing a great job. I guess just more hypotheticals instead of specific quiz questions about the readings? I think pacing was a bit of an issue. There was so much material to sort through and oftentimes the readings assigned for a specific class day would overlap to the next class and we got a bit backloaded on the cases, making it harder to stay prepared. the TA slides for the midterm had a page listing what was included on the midterm and it didn ' t include everything. I do think that overall the TAs are very helpful. Sometimes the reading assigned was too much and very hard to get done in the time span. 30 pages was perfect but upwards of that made it difficult to complete especially with other readings from other classes. I don ' t have any suggestions, I think Professor Infranca does a great job! I felt there were areas of the casebook that were lacking. I wish there were better explanations of various doctrines, vocabulary, etc. There were times I ' d have to look elsewhere to understand certain aspects of sections because some terms weren ' t explained adequately. I sincerely do not believe that there is a section of this class which can be improved, Professor Infranca was an excellent instructor for this material and the material was well organized with the cases each giving important examples without having any kind of unnecessary or repetitious reading regarding the various topics. Kind of a lot of reading that feels not necessary We had so many cases and sometimes it was difficult to be prepared for class when we had to finish the discussion of readings from a week ago. Some days I felt underprepared as I prepared a week prior. I think Professor Infranca is a great teacher; I wouldn ' t change anything. There should be more application of what we learn to how it will be used if we embark on a career in property law. What is it like to be a property lawyer? none. Not assigning work that may not be on the exams. Sometimes the amount of reading was out of balance with the workload of other courses. There were weeks where the amount of time it took to finish the readings was longer than what the ABA guidelines seems to suggest or expect. That being said, I did learn a lot from the readings and feel I have a deeper understanding than people I’ve spoken with in other sections about their readings and experience. I really liked when you drew pictures on the board, and it would be helpful if you could do that more. There were many instances where you wanted there to be a teachable moment on a hypo question but you skipped forward or back too far and revealed the answer. I ' m sure there ' s a
