OLDFall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

about how well we kept to it in our reflections. Are we drinking enough water? Eating enough protein? For sleep - have us turn in our daily calendars. Are we allocating enough time to sleep? Are we skimping on homework time? Has exercise gone out the window? Instead of portraits of pride, portraits of our work space. Is it set up well ergonomically? Follow through with requesting our exercise log each week as alluded to in an early reflection! There is so much to do in law school. If you want us to do it, please ask, so that we know, rather than expecting something to materialize. That’s the helping hand that 1L’s who are getting on the track of managing it all themselves need. This lifestyle information is important, and Professor Baker is wise in his knowledge of it. But limiting the time available and making this only a half credit ungraded class set him, and us, up to fail. This class was bloat after other classes. In the middle of the week it took up crucial homework time. By being alternating weeks it made it harder to adopt a regular schedule. If the school believes we deserve this material to succeed, then give it to all of us. This class was a disadvantage, not an advantage, because of the stress it caused and the time it took away from either studying or relaxing to maintain stamina through the semester. Thank you for reading. Because the majority of assignments and advice on assignments came from the TA, Julia Arnese, it seemed that Professor Baker was somewhat hands off outside of class. Additionally, the way the class was introduced in the email to us gave a very vague idea of what the course offers.
