Fall 2022 Law School Course Evaluations

What aspect(s) of the course or instruction could be improved? Not attributed to the professor, however some of the assignments were difficult when it was clear I was going against a peer who did not prepare well for the role play. Because this was an experiential class, much of it required some sort of collaboration. As an evening student it was difficult to collaborate with day students who operate on a different schedule. It was also frustrating on a couple occasions when peers did not respond to my emails or facilitate conversation for group discussions well, which negatively impacted my performance. Having to read the whole book before class I wasn ' t a fan of. I think it would be better if it were due after the first week. I just felt like I didn ' t learn a ton from bulk reading the book before the class and personally i thought i may have to drop the class until like a week before and so starting that like 2 days before just felt like I was cramming stuff in that wasn ' t going to sit with me. Paper at the end of the course - didn ' t seem necessary in addition to the journal entries - i think one or the other would have been good n/a
