In what way(s) did this course benefit your professional or intellectual development? Subject is on the bar and this was a good way to know exactly what will be on the bar. Practice essays He actually taught the class Family Law It definitely caused my interest in family law to grow. I feel prepared for this part of the bar. It helped me solidify my interest in family law Professor Perlin gave us review questions very often. We also learned the majority and minority approaches of family law throughout the US. I think this class will be very helpful for studying the bar. Learned the fundamentals of a relevant and important area of the law. While I do not personally have interest in pursuing family law, I am glad I learned this information for the Bar and for my general knowledge. Professor Perlin also challenged us to think critically about legal issues involved in the representation of clients. Applying family law concepts in this context helped me develop the skills necessary for representing clients. i think it really prepared me for the family law curriculum on the bar, and made me realize how relevant family law is in every day life Helped me prepare for the bar Furthering my legal analysis skills and issue spotting and analyzing issues. This class helped me to understand whether or not family law is a type of law I would be interested in. The class helped me feel better prepared for the Bar exam. Although I don ' t plan to practice in the family law area, the class was also beneficial to me intellectually, as it made me more aware of issues such as divorce and custody that come up in life, I had worked in a family law firm before so being able to ask him questions about cases we ' ve been working on was great IT HELPED ME THINK OF OUTSIDE TOPICS WHEN THINKING OF FAMILY LAW - LIKE CONTRACTS, AND CON LAW Professor Perlin fostered a good environment to engage with the material beyond just discussing cases.
